White fir (Abies concolor)

Abies concolor has long, blue-green needles and a conical crown. Its texture contrasts with denser or darker conifer foliage. It can become a large tree and suits a spacious site as a specimen.

Choose sun or partial shade and moderately moist, well-drained soil. Monitor watering after planting and in dry summers. Preserve the natural crown; do not shorten the leader without a specific reason for training it.
