Nordmann fir

Abies nordmanniana forms a conical crown with green needles that are paler underneath. This tree needs a spacious site where it can grow freely. Consider its mature dimensions and avoid planting too close to buildings.

Choose sun or partial shade and moderately moist, well-drained soil. Monitor watering after planting and in dry summers. Preserve the natural crown; do not shorten the leader without a specific reason for training it.
