Ivy retains its foliage and can cover the ground or climb suitable surfaces. It provides a green backdrop in partially shaded areas. Control its spread and check the condition of a wall before allowing it to climb.

Choose partial shade and well-drained soil. Guide growth and shorten shoots that extend beyond their intended area. Keep the plant out of gutters and damaged masonry joints. Ivy is an ornamental plant and must not be eaten.
