Magnolia ‘Little Gem’

Magnolia ‘Little Gem’ has glossy evergreen leaves with brown undersides and fragrant creamy-white flowers. It grows more compactly than typical Magnolia grandiflora, but does not remain miniature. Allow room for its crown and choose a sheltered position.

Choose a bright position protected from cold winds, with fertile, slightly acidic, well-drained soil. Monitor watering after planting. Plan protection for young specimens in harsh winters according to the site; keep pruning to a minimum.
