Photinia — multi-stem

Multi-stem photinia has an open base and a full crown with red new growth. Its appearance is more natural than a clipped hedge. It can become the focal point of a shrub group or courtyard.

Choose a bright position protected from cold winds, with well-drained soil. Monitor watering during establishment. Light clipping encourages a denser crown; avoid heavy pruning before the cold season.
