Bird’s nest spruce ‘Nidiformis’

Picea abies ‘Nidiformis’ forms a low, broad crown with a nest-like hollow in the centre. Green needles and dense branches create a compact volume. It suits rock gardens and conifer planting with room to spread.

Choose sun or partial shade and moderately moist, well-drained soil. Monitor watering after planting and in dry summers. Preserve the natural crown; do not shorten the leader without a specific reason for training it.
