Blue spruce ‘Glauca’

Picea pungens ‘Glauca’ has bluish needles and a conical crown. It can grow into a large tree suited to spacious gardens. An individual position highlights its colour and branching, provided there is room for the mature crown.

Choose sun or partial shade and moderately moist, well-drained soil. Monitor watering after planting and in dry summers. Preserve the natural crown; do not shorten the leader without a specific reason for training it.
