Mountain pine ‘Mops’

Pinus mugo ‘Mops’ forms a compact, rounded shrub with dark green needles. It suits rock gardens, broad borders and groups of differently shaped conifers. Slow growth helps retain proportions, but it still needs room to develop.

Plant in a sunny position in well-drained soil. Water during establishment, checking the soil before each watering. Preserve the natural shape; seek advice for the particular specimen before formative pruning.
