Thuja occidentalis ‘Smaragd’ has a narrow, conical crown and green foliage. It is used for hedges, rows and individual specimens. Choose an available size: planting height affects the initial appearance, while spacing should suit the intended result.

Choose sun or partial shade and moderately moist, well-drained soil. Monitor watering after planting and during dry periods. Maintain the shape by lightly clipping green growth without cutting deeply into bare wood.
