Feather grass ‘Pony Tails’

Stipa ‘Pony Tails’ forms clumps of very fine leaves that move in a light breeze. Pale flower heads give sunny borders an airy feel. Combine it with lavender and perennials in soil that does not hold excessive moisture.

Plant in sun in well-drained soil that does not remain wet in winter. Water moderately during establishment. Carefully remove dry leaves in spring while preserving green growth.
